November 11, 2009OCCUPIED JERUSALEM – A Jewish rabbi has issued a book giving Jews permission to murder non-Jews, including babies and children, who may pose an actual or potential threat to Jews or Israel. “It is permissible to kill the Righteous among non-Jews even if they are not responsible for the threatening situation,” Rabbi Yitzhak Shapiro, who heads the Od Yosef Chai Yeshiva in the Yitzhar settlement in the occupied West Bank, wrote in his book “The King’s Torah.”
He argues that goyem (a derogatory epithet for non-Jews) may be killed if they threaten Israel.
“If we kill a Gentile who has sinned or has violated one of the seven commandments – because we care about the commandments – there is nothing wrong with the murder.”

Shapiro, who heads a small Talmudic school at the settlement of Yitzhar near Nablus, claims his edict “is fully justified by the Torah and the Talmud.”
The anti-goyem edict seems to come in response to the arrest by Israeli police of a Jewish terrorist who has confessed to having murdered two Palestinian shepherds in the West Bank.
The terrorist, an American-born immigrant named Yaakov Teitel, also confessed to have tried to assassinate leftist Jewish figures.
Police considered the arrest an important achievement in combating Jewish terrorism, which experts contend thrives on religious edicts issued by rabbis affiliated with the religious-Zionist camp.
Nearly 16 years ago, a Jewish terrorist named Yigal Amir assassinated then Israeli Premier Yitzhak Rabin.
Moreover, numerous innocent Palestinians have also been murdered in cold blood by Jewish terrorists.
In 1994, Baruch Goldstein, a notorious Jewish terrorist, murdered 29 Muslim worshipers inside Al-Ibrahimi Mosque in the West Bank town of al-Khalil.
Non-Humans
The controversial edict is backed by numerous rabbis affiliated with the so-called national-religious camp as well as the Talmudic seminary in West Jerusalem, known as Merkaz Ha’rav.
Among the rabbis who have publicly supported the edict are Yitzhak Ginsburg and Ya’akov Yosef.
Ginsburg had written a leaflet glorifying murderer Goldstein and called him a “saintly figure.”
Shapiro’s views on how Palestinians and non-Jews in general ought to be treated according to Jewish religious law (halacha) are widely looked at as representing the mainstream not the exception in Israel.
During the Israeli onslaught against Gaza earlier this year, Mordecahi Elyahu, one of the leading rabbinic figures in Israel, urged the army not to refrain from killing enemy children in order to save the lives of Israeli soldiers.
He had even petitioned the Israeli government to carry out a series of carpet bombing of Palestinian population centers in Gaza.
“If they don’t stop after we kill 100, then we must kill a thousand. And if they do not stop after we kill a thousand, then we must kill 10,000. If they still don’t stop, we must kill 100,000, even a million. Whatever it takes to stop them.”
According to Israel Shahak, author of “Jewish History, Jewish Religion: the Weight of Three Thousand years,” the term “human beings” in Jewish law refers solely to Jews.
Many Jewish orthodox rabbis, especially within the national-religious sector, view international conventions incriminating the deliberate killing of civilians and destruction of civilian homes and property as representing “Christian morals” not binding on Jews.
In 2006, the Rabbinic Council of Jewish Settlements in the West Bank urged the army “to ignore Christian morals and exterminate the enemy in the north (Lebanon) and the south (Gaza Strip).
Such manifestly racist and hateful edicts don’t raise many eyebrows in Israel, neither among the intelligentsia nor in the society at large.Source

EU steps up research funding for Zionist murder machine

June 18, 2010BRUSSELS — A leading Israeli supplier of warplanes used to kill and maim civilians in Gaza is in the running for two new scientific research grants from the European Union.

Israel’s attacks on Gaza in late 2008 and 2009 provided its air force with an opportunity to experiment with state-of-the-art pilotless drones such as the Heron. Although human rights groups have calculated that the Heron and other drones killed at least 87 civilians during that three-week war, EU officials have tentatively approved the release of fresh finance to the Heron’s manufacturer, Israel Aerospace Industries (IAI).

Two projects involving IAI have recently passed the evaluation stages of a call for proposals under the EU’s multi-annual program for research, which has been allocated 53 billion euros (65.4 billion dollars) for the 2007-13 period.

The Union’s executive arm, the European Commission, has confirmed that IAI is one of 34 Israeli “partners” involved in 26 EU-funded projects for information technology which are under preparation.

Among the other Israeli firms being considered for such funding are Afcon, a supplier of metal detectors to military checkpoints in the occupied Palestinian territories, including the Erez crossing between southern Israel and Gaza. Afcon was also awarded a contract in 2008 for installing a security system in a light rail project designed to connect illegal Israeli settlements in East Jerusalem with the city center.

Mark English, a Commission spokesman, said that the procedures relating to the projects have not yet been completed. But the Israeli business publication Globes reported last month that Israeli firms stand to gain 17 million euros from the latest batch of EU grants for information technology. According to Globes, this will bring the amount that Israel has drawn from the EU’s research program since 2007 to 290 million euros.

Israel is the main foreign participant in the EU’s science program. Officials in Tel Aviv say they expect Israeli firms and research institutes will have received around 500 million euros from the program by the time of its conclusion.

Chris Davies, a British Liberal Democrat member of the European Parliament (MEP), expressed anger at how the Commission’s research department appears willing to rubber-stamp new grants for Israeli companies. Such a “business-as-usual” approach is at odds with tacit assurances from officials handling the EU’s more general relations with Israel, he said.

In late 2008, the EU’s 27 governments agreed to an Israeli request that the relationship should be “upgraded” so that Israel could have a deeper involvement in a wide range of the Union’s activities. But work on giving formal effect to that agreement has stalled because of the subsequent invasion of Gaza.

Approving EU finance for Israel Aerospace Industries “should be regarded as utterly unacceptable, incoherent and outrageously naive,” Davies told IPS. He argued that there appears to be “no communication” between different sets of EU representatives on how Israel should be handled. “Where’s the joined-up thinking?” he asked.

While the European Commission claims that all of its scientific research cooperation with Israel is civilian in nature, the Israeli government has been eager to publicize the almost umbilical links between the country’s thriving technology sector and military. A brochure titled ‘Communications in Israel’ published by its industry ministry earlier this year refers to a “symbiosis” between the security and technology sectors in Israel. Several technology breakthroughs — such as the invention of voice recognition devices for computers by the Israeli army in the 1980s — have resulted from this “convergence”, the brochure claims.

Other likely Israeli beneficiaries of the new round of EU funding do not conceal how they have benefited from this convergence either. The Israeli subsidiary of SAP, the software manufacturer, has issued publications about how it has provided specialist equipment for the Israeli army. And both Emza and LiveU, two “start-up” companies, are examples of the numerous makers of surveillance equipment in Israel that have seen their order books fill up since the country tried to position itself as an indispensable part of the “war on terror” declared by former U.S. president George W. Bush.

Marcel Shaton, head of the Israel-Europe Research and Development Directorate (ISERD) in Tel Aviv, said that EU citizens should not have any qualms about financing Israeli arms companies. “All research supports the arms industry,” he said. “Non-military technology is used for military purposes all over the world.”

But Yasmin Khan, a specialist on the arms trade with the anti-poverty group War on Want, said that the EU has been complicit in the occupation of Palestine through its support for Israel’s military industry.

She noted that drones made by IAI and other Israeli companies have been bought by several European countries taking part in the US-led war in Afghanistan. “The military industry is a central point of the Israeli economy,” she said. “The equipment it makes is sold as ‘battle-tested’, which is a dark way of describing its use in the occupied (Palestinian) territories.”

Helen Thomas: In Appreciation

Information Clearing House - The propagandists for the Israel Lobby, who occupy the Wall Street Journal editorial page while pretending to be journalists, are determined to remove Helen Thomas from the annals of journalism. In case you have already forgotten, a few days ago the distinguished career of Helen Thomas, the 89-year-old doyen of the White House Press Corps, was ended by the Israel Lobby, which made an issue about her opinion that immigrant Jews should leave Palestine and go back to their home countries.

The White House Correspondents’ Association fell in line with the demands of the Israel Lobby, and the cowardly president of the organization added the association’s disapprobation to that of the neoconservative cabal.

Having removed Helen Thomas from the journalism scene, the Israel Lobby is now working with its agents on the Wall Street Journal editorial page to eliminate the Helen Thomas Award for Lifetime Achievement from the Society of Professional Journalists.

A nonentity in the world of journalism, James Taranto, apparently is associated with the Wall Street Journal editorial page, although Wikipedia reports that he was incapable of graduating from journalism school at California State University, Northridge. On a Wall Street Journal web site, Taranto writes: “We’ve been calling Thomas ‘American journalism’s crazy old aunt in the attic’ for years,” and he asks who would now accept the Helen Thomas award after Ms. Thomas revealed she really was crazy by criticizing Israel.

I would for one. Of course the Society of Professional Journalists would never give the award, assuming the distinguished award survives the assault of the Israel Lobby’s assassins, to a critic of Israel. Helen excepted, American journalists are cowards. With the concentrated ownership of the corporate media today, no independently-minded journalist can have a career in print or TV media. You defend the Washington/Tel Aviv line, or you are out of work.

The absence of independently-minded journalists on the Wall Street Journal editorial page is an extraordinary change from my days as Associate Editor of that page. The editorial page editor, Robert Bartley was ambitious and forced himself to tolerate talented colleagues. Mere opinion was not our task. Often we scooped the reporters on the news side of the paper. Our editorials reported new developments and provided factual analysis.

I was hired as Jude Wanniski’s replacement. Jude, Associate Editor of the Wall Street Journal, was fired, allegedly because the journal’s brass caught him handing out election campaign literature on a train platform, but if you believe American journalism was ever that pure, I have a bridge in Brooklyn for sale.

Jude was fired, because the neoconservatives got rid of him by telling Bartley that Wanniski was over-shadowing him. That was too much for Bob’s ego. Jude, of course, being a real journalist, was objective toward the Palestinians and thus had earned the enmity of the Israel Lobby.

Once Bob was rapidly declining with prostate cancer, neoconservatives engineered the takeover of the editorial page. Today the once proud Wall Street Journal editorial page is a leading apologist for Israeli/American war crimes and police states.

To return to the nonentity, James Taranto, who wants to throw Helen Thomas down the memory hole: Helen Thomas’ opinion that Israelis should stop stealing the villages, homes, and lands of Palestinians, while confining Palestinians to the equivalent of the Warsaw Ghetto, is equated by Taranto to the advocacy of “ethnic cleansing” by Helen.

Of course, it is the Israelis who are doing the ethnic cleansing. Many Jews have documented Israel’s ethnic cleansing of Palestinians, such as Uri Avnery, a former member of the Israeli terrorist organization, Irgun, Ilan Pappe, Israel’s most distinguished historian and author of The Ethnic Cleansing of Palestine, and the Israeli peace group, ICHAD, who have been my house guests. The Israeli newspaper, Haaratz, is far more critical of Israeli policy than Helen Thomas, and so is MIT professor Noam Chomsky, the distinguished British journalist and film maker John Pilger, and the distinguished scholar, Norman Finkelstein, the son of Holocaust survivors.

But Taranto prefers an 89-year old adversary.

Israel is an unnatural state. It was created by terror that was accommodated by craven British and US “diplomacy.” Israel exists for one reason only: the US government provides the money, weapons, and diplomatic protection. Any other government that murdered thousands of civilians in other countries, as Israel does routinely in Lebanon, Gaza, and the West Bank, would have its entire government and military on trial before the War Crimes Tribunal at the Hague. Israelis have no worst enemy than their own government.

Every time the rest of the world tries to hold the Israeli government accountable for its crimes, the US vetoes the UN resolution. America has become the enabler of the zionist-hijacked Israeli government. And the Israeli government knows it. Israeli government leaders have publicly bragged for decades about their control over the US government. US Admiral Tom Moorer, Chief of Naval Operations and Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff after whom the F-14 “Tomcat” jet fighter was named, declared publicly: “No American President can stand up to Israel.” Apparently no American journalist can either.

I am a critic of Israel’s heartless policy toward the Palestinians, but I do not want Israel destroyed. I want it moved or reformed. Bring the small number of Israelis to America before there is a nuclear war over the fact that they are where they should not be. To try to claim a land and dispossess its people on the basis of a spurious two thousand year year old deed is an audacious act of conquest and dispossession.

My proposal to relocate Israelis in the US is rhetorical, but why not insist that the Israelis, who are heavily dependent on US largess, reform? Why should Americans support an apartheid racist state that denies citizenship to the rightful inhabitants? What kind of morality, if any, does the Wall Street Journal editorial page represent when it defends Israelis who force Palestinians into ever-shrinking ghettos, deprived of water, food, medical care and schools? Why must Palestinians live in dread of Israeli bulldozers arriving to flatten their homes in order to create space for zionist “settlers.”

Allegedly, the US is a superpower, but in fact it is a puppet state of the Israeli government. Witness, for example (the examples are numerous), the fate of the Goldstone Report on Israeli war crimes committed in Israel’s assault on Gaza during December 2008-January 2009. Goldstone is a zionist Jew and a distinguished judge. He was given the task by the United Nations to investigate the Israeli attack on Gaza. Being an honest person, he provided evidence of Israeli war crimes.

What was the result? The bought-and-paid-for US Congress voted, on the instructions of their master, the Israel Lobby, to deep-six the Goldstone Report by a vote of 344 to 36.

Amazing, isn’t it, there were only 36 US Representatives who were not owned by the Israel Lobby.

Of course, James Taranto serves the Israel Lobby. The Wall Street Journal editorial page, not even a shadow of its former self, when it speaks, speaks for Israel and for the Bush/Cheney militarist police state.

The Wall Street Journal editorial page has fallen into the low ranks of Brownshirt propaganda. The fact that management tolerates the continuation of totally nonobjective
journalism shows why print newspapers are failing everywhere.

The hubris of Taranto, a mere propagandist who will never come close to the league in which Helen Thomas resides, causes him to think that he is fit to pass judgment on a real journalist. Taranto epitomizes the hubris of the neoconservatives. Not a single one of them has the smallest accomplishment. Yet, blinded with arrogance, they remain in ignorant bliss of their status as prostitutes.

Flotilla Check: Facts and Israeli Lies

Flouting international demands for an independent investigation of its deadly attack on a humanitarian aid flotilla in international waters, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has formed an internal commission composed of three Israelis and two, non-voting international observers. The commission chair, retired Israeli Supreme Court justice Jacob Turkel, expressed his hope that the panel would finish its work as “quickly” as possible. And Netanyahu has promised that the “Gaza flotilla probe will show the world Israel acted lawfully.” Both comments leave many observers wondering how seriously the findings of a quick, internal investigation with a seemingly pre-determined outcome can be taken. Skepticism is heightened by the way in which Israel handled evidence of the incident and by what many see as its misinformation campaign designed to discredit the flotilla’s humanitarian aid workers.How did Israel handle evidence of its deadly raid in international waters?

According to Australian journalist and flotilla passenger Paul McGeough, “The systematic attempt and very deliberate first priority for the Israeli soldiers as they came on the ships was to shut down the story, to confiscate all cameras, to shut down satellites, to smash the CCTV cameras that were on the Mavi Marmara, to make sure that nothing was going out. They were hellbent on controlling the story.”

After seizing all recordings of the event, Israeli authorities then began releasing highly-edited footage, including footage stolen from journalists and others on board the ships. The Committee to Protect Journalists denounced Israel’s use of stolen footage. And the Foreign Press Association in Israel, representing hundreds of foreign correspondents, called the use a “clear violation of journalistic ethics and unacceptable” and warned news outlets to “treat the material with appropriate caution.”

Israel claims its heavily-armed Navy commandos were “lynched” by the flotilla passengers and acted in self-defense. Do the facts support this claim?

CLAIM #1: The violence onboard the Mavi Marmara resulted from the surprising resistance the Israeli commandos encountered when they boarded the ship. According to an Israeli military spokesman, “We had in mind a sit-down, a linking of arms.”

IN FACT:

• Testimony from passengers confirms that Israeli commandoes began firing before boarding the ship. According to Al-Jazeera correspondent and Mavi Marmara passenger Jamal El Shayyal, “Commandos on board the choppers joined the firing, using live ammunition, before any of the soldiers had descended onto the ship. Two unarmed civilians were killed just meters away from me. Dozens of unarmed civilians were injured right before my eyes”
• An Israeli soldier’s testimony shows that “the commandos threw a number of stun grenades and fired warning shots before rappelling down onto the deck.”
• Israeli Ambassador to the U.S. Michael Oren acknowledged that Israel considered the Mavi Marmara to be “simply too large to stop by nonviolent means.”
• And Israel’s Maariv newspaper documented the significant planning that went into the raid, including the approval of the use of force by senior government officials well ahead of the incident.

CLAIM #2: “when IDF forces tried to quietly carry out their mission to stop the flotilla, they unfortunately met violence, including from firearms on deck of the ship that were used against IDF soldiers.” Israel’s Deputy Foreign Minister Danny Ayalon

IN FACT: The IDF could provide no evidence of this claim. The boats and passengers were thoroughly searched before setting sail and were only cleared to sail because they were found to be free of weapons. IDF sources then changed their story claiming that firearms may have been thrown overboard. Mavi Marmara passengers confirm that firearms were in fact thrown overboard – firearms which passengers confiscated from the Israeli commandos in self defense. According to Swedish Mavi Marmara passenger and professor of religion Mattias Gardell, “An Uzi and a pistol were seized, emptied of ammunition and were thrown into the sea. We would by all means show that there was a peaceful campaign and that we did not have weapons….Then came the paratroopers in four helicopters and they shot sharply already from the time they were in the air.”

CLAIM #3: When Israeli soldiers boarded the ship “they were going to be killed and they had to act in self-defense” Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu

IN FACT:

• As a result of the IDF’s violence, which began prior to boarding the ship, nine passengers on the Mavi Marmara were killed, having been shot a total of 30 times. Five of the nine were shot in the head, some at close range, some from the back, and one, a 19 year old American citizen named Furkan Dogan, was shot in what can only be seen as execution-style: once in the chest and four times in the head from a range of less than 45 centimeters.
• Photographs from the incident show that, once they were disarmed, IDF soldiers had their wounds treated and were given water by passengers, further disproving the claim that they were intent on killing Israelis.
• The testimony of filmmaker Iara Lee who was onboard the Mavi Marmara shows that passengers called for medical help for the injured, “but [they] were ignored, and a lot of people who were injured actually ended up bleeding to death and died.” Her testimony is supported by other eyewitness accounts.

What other claims did Israel make that were then retracted or proven false?

“GO BACK TO AUSCHWITZ”

The Israeli military released what it claimed were audio transmissions of flotilla passengers responding to radio calls from the IDF by telling the soldiers to “go back to Auschwitz” and to quot;remember 9/11.”

IN FACT:

• Investigative journalists uncovered the fact that IDF had previously released what appeared to be identical video of the exchange between this Israeli sailor and the Mavi Marmara in which the only reply from the ship was “Negative, negative. Our destination is Gaza. Our destination is Gaza.”
• One of the individuals whose voice appears on the IDF’s tape, Huwaida Arraf, confirmed that she was not even on the Mavi Marmara, but on another ship altogether.
• The IDF then admitted that the audio transmission was edited and released what it claims was the full, unedited transmission. Though as New York Times reporter Robert Mackey points out, “since they are snippets of audio over a black screen, it is impossible to verify their authenticity.”

IHH LINKS TO TERROR

Israel claims that groups participating in the flotilla, particularly the Turkish aid group , Insani Yardim Vakfi (IHH) “are non-governmental organizations that support terror and are affiliated with terror” and that the flotilla’s organizers “have close, longstanding ties with agents of international terror, international Islam, Hamas, Al-Qaeda and others.”

IN FACT:

• The Israeli government failed to provide evidence of individual claims of terrorist affiliations or intentions.
• The Israeli government edited its own websites to remove Al-Qaeda assertions after it could not substantiate claims that flotilla passengers had connections to Al-Qaeda.
• The Intelligence and Terrorism Information Center, a think tank with ties to Israel’s Defense Ministry, concluded that there is “no known evidence of current links between IHH and ‘global jihad elements.”
• Not only does the IHH not appear on the US State Department’s list of Foreign Terrorist Organizations, the group played an active role in delivering humanitarian aid to Haiti after the devastating January earthquake while the US military directed relief efforts there.

What about Israel’s claims regarding the humanitarian situation in Gaza?

Israel claims that it told the flotilla that if they docked in Ashdod, the Israeli government would “transfer their aid through the existing land crossings, in accordance with established procedures.”

Did the flotilla passengers have reason to doubt that Israel would in fact let the humanitarian aid enter Gaza?

Yes. According to a guide produced by the BBC, for much of the last three years, Gaza’s “1.5 million people have relied on less than a quarter of the volume of imported supplies they received in December 2005.” This falls far short of the minimum required to avoid malnutrition, poverty, and prevent or treat a variety of illnesses. According to Amnesty International’s recently-released annual report, the siege has resulted in “mass unemployment, extreme poverty, food insecurity and food price rises caused by shortages.”

Israel claims that “there is no humanitarian crisis in Gaza“

Consider the following statistics:

• 61 percent of households face food insecurity, defined as inadequate physical, social or economic access to food, and rely on assistance from aid agencies. An additional 16.2 percent are considered vulnerable to food insecurity.
• 65 percent of the food insecure are children under the age of 18.
• Unemployment is at 40 percent.
• 10 percent of children under five are stunted (low height for age, usually attributed to a chronic lack of protein and micronutrients, including iron and essential vitamins), a steadily increasing trend over recent years, according to UNICEF.
• More than 10 percent of children are chronically malnourished, according to the World Health Organization, a significant increase since siege began.
• The number of children under five suffering from acute malnutrition nearly doubled between 2006 and 2008 from 1.4 to 2.4 percent, according to UNICEF.
• 65 percent of children aged 9-12 months, and 35 percent of pregnant women are anemic.
• According to a recent poverty survey conducted by the United Nations Relief and Works Agency, the number of Palestinian refugees completely unable to secure access to food and lacking the means to purchase even the most basic items, such as soap, school stationery and safe drinking water (‘abject poverty’) has tripled since the imposition of the blockade in June 2007.

Israel claims that its blockade of Gaza is in response to rockets fired into Israel.

• As documented by the Israeli human rights organization Gisha, “Beginning in September 2007, Israel openly stated that it would restrict the movement of goods into and out of Gaza not in order to protect against security threats stemming from the transfer, but rather as part of a policy to apply “pressure” or “sanctions” on the Hamas regime.” This amounts to collective punishment of Gaza’s civilians, and as such is a violation of international humanitarian law (Article 33 of the Fourth Geneva Convention of 1949). Further, as an occupying power, Israel is required under Articles 55, 59 and 60 of the Fourth Geneva Convention to ensure free, unimpeded passage of humanitarian relief and is prohibited from impeding the full realization of the occupied people’s human rights. Israel’s blockade impedes Gazans’ rights to food, to an adequate standard of living, to work, and to the highest attainable standard of health.
• Further, according to Amnesty International, Hamas upheld its end of the 2008 cease-fire and halted rockets, yet Israel did not respond by lowering the blockade on Gaza. The cease-fire had been “the single most important factor in reducing civilian casualties and attacks on civilians to the lowest level since the outbreak of the uprising (intifada) more than eight years ago. The ceasefire [had] brought enormous improvements in the quality of life in Sderot… However, nearby in the Gaza Strip the Israeli blockade remains in place and the population has so far seen few dividends from the ceasefire.”
• The cease-fire was unilaterally broken by Israel on November 4th, 2008 and led to an escalation of hostility and the eventual Operation Cast Lead.
• Those “22 days of death and destruction” resulted in the deaths of roughly 1,400 Palestinians, destroyed Gaza’s infrastructure, schools, and hospitals, and left its citizens in even greater humanitarian crisis than before.
• The items blockaded by the Israeli government at various times include “light bulbs, candles, matches, books, musical instruments, crayons, clothing, shoes, mattresses, sheets, blankets, pasta, tea, coffee, chocolate, nuts, shampoo and conditioner.” These items have no connection to Hamas rocket capacity and serve only to punish Gaza’s civilian population , half of which is comprised of children.

MICHAEL OREN, ISRAELI AMBASSADOR SAYS 9 DEAD WERE “TERRORISTS”

CHOSEN, SELECTED AND EXECUTED BY ISRAELI TROOPS

In a humorous segment on the Colbert Report, a comedy news show, Israeli Ambassador Michael Oren described to the audience the killing of nine Turkish citizens in the Israeli attack on the Mavi Marmara, a Turkish registered ship in the Freedom Flotilla.  Only hours before, the Flotilla had stopped to honor an American Naval ship, the USS Liberty, attacked by Israel with 34 killed and 171 injured.  Israel claimed the the American sailors, on a new $43 million dollar communications ship were also terrorists and had been carefully recognized and killed, using machine guns, cannons, napalm and torpedoes.  Later, Israel claimed at first that the incident had been done by another country and, later still, claimed it was all a misunderstanding.

Ambassador Oren indicated he was clear this time.  The men killed had been selected by Israeli troops and executed as terrorists.  He said Israel had conclusive proof that the nine killed had been active in terrorist organizations, were carrying guns and had shot several IDF personnel.  Oren never indicated how the 9 killed were selected or if they were known in advance.  Previously, Israel had claimed the killings were defensive and the victims unknown to them.  Oren’s claims that the victims were proven terrorists is a significant alteration in Israels account.

However, films of the attack indicated something quite different.  On examination by Jim W. Dean of Heritage TV, a former US Intelligence Official specializing in analysis of video and voice evidence, it was noted that the films had been altered and the people identified as terrorists were actually Israeli citizens, paid actors, who were put onto the video using a primitive and highly ineffective special effects process not used since the Godzilla films.  Dean describes the films:

These Photo shopped videos were done so poorly as to be almost comical if they were not done to cover up murders. You will have to watch the video several times to really visually catch their mistakes. Don’t be afraid to use the pause button to study the images.

The ending scenes on the fantail immediately struck me as a studio shoot. The lighting was way to bright for a ship in that situation. The actors…well…they did a really poor job. In the real videos you see more confusion…the clothes are not right. If was a completely staged event, even down to the tiny slingshot one guy raises up so it can be noticed. Also, the camera is stationary (on a tripod)…a huge mistake.

Though information on the alteration of both the films and video recordings of the incident were available to Colbert, he failed to bring this up to Orin.  Colbert, as part of what could be described as an attempt at comedy, demonstrated fear of retaliation by Ambassador Oren were the interview to become confrontational.

When asked how an obviously faked film could be presented on news networks and individuals such as Oren could be allowed to make wild accusations against murder victims without being “called” on it, Dean replied:

The real news here is how such an obvious fraud was pipelined into American mass media. Any experienced news video editor would have spotted the obvious fraud on these tapes. But they pushed it right out onto unsuspecting Americans who wrongly think that mass media would not pedal something they know to be totally bogus. And how wrong they are.  But it gets worse. Our Intel and security agencies always do frame by frame analysis of important video material like this. They also had to have spotted this…yet they did not warn the American people that this was a fraud. Why not?

The answer is that Israel espionage has penetrated American government, media, politics, and even our security institutions to the point that the Zios have no fear of those responsible for our national security protecting us from the Israeli 5^th column operating here. They are protected by powerful interests.

With hours of video smuggled out and analysis indicating that Israel forces had never met armed troops, and that Oren’s statements made on national television were totally false, networks in the US have still remained silent.

Video supplied by the Israeli government for news distrubution but debunked by CIA experts was offered to the Colbert show to be used in rebuttal for the statements made by Ambassador Oren.  Actor Stephen Colbert has yet to respond.  Colbert was asked to comment on his interview.  When asked if he feared violent reprisals from Israel if he had taken a more confrontational tone with Oren, Colbert refused to comment.

However, it is noted that Colbert finished his interview with Ambassador Oren with a statement made that seemed to condemn famed journalist Helen Thomas.  Colbert, in a “wink and nod” way, condemned Thomas for making the statement last week that Jews in Israel “should return to Germany or Poland or wherever the come from…”

Colbert said he thought that was ‘reprehensible.”

Colbert then turned to Ambassador Oren and said, “Sir, shouldn’t the Palestinians be subject to the same thing, shouldn’t they be forced to return to where they came from?”

On hearing this, Oren nearly swallowed his tongue.  After a stuttering recovery, Oren went onto a short “canned” tirade about Palestinians living where Israelis put them, end of story.  Maybe Colbert had reason to be afraid.  Was this enough to put him in danger?  We thank Stephen Colbert for his clever and effective ambush of Ambassador Michael Oren.

BUSTED!  I didn’t believe they would be that stupid.  You could see the cursor moving in the picture.  I saw a man handed a metal bar.  Then he walked through, just like a ghost, a solid steel protrusion from the deck, the size of an ashcan.  This thing would have stopped a truck but the Fox News “fighters” on the Mavi Marmara were like ghosts.  In fact, the “steel bar thugs” were exactly that, or more appropriately, cartoons.

They passed through walls, stood when others cowered and, like the cartoon characters they were, waved their steel bars in the air threateningly, all a fabrication of the IDF bungler squad, made for Likudist Rupert Murdoch’s Fox News.  Like a scene out of the movie, Rising Sun with Sean Connery and Wesley Snipes, Israel is “busted” for clumsy attempts to insert scarry cartoon characters into videos counterfeited to support their Gaza blockade.  Was this the same Israeli film group arrested on 9/11, the group who spent hours with cameras pointing at the World Trade Center waiting for the attack?

If there was ever proof to convict at a war crimes tribunal, the Israeli videos played on Fox News are it.  The “bunglers,” I can’t use that word enough, in Israel couldn’t have done a worse job.  This is the third major public relations hit for Israel this week after Likudist Rupert Murdoch, owner of the London Times ran stories about Saudi cooperation with Israel against Iran, debunked, and a follow-up piece trying to tie Pakistan’s ISI to the Taliban, another debunked failure.  It isn’t just that the stories were false, but that they were incompetently written showing no familarity with commonly known background.   What we are smelling is panic among the Israeli extremists who are suffering a major backlash around the world and increasing dissent in their own country.

THE MOST ENLIGHTENING TEN MINUTES OF YOUR EDUCATION IN “REAL” VERSUS MYTH

Were it not for so many killed and wounded with hundreds kidnapped and tortured, this would qualify as a comedy reel for television.  It would be continually shown, running forward, backward, slow motion, the whole thing ought to be a big joke.  Israel’s use of “pre- Star Wars” special effects falls well short of the film Rising Sun with Wesley Snipes and Sean Connery, the first exposure of how “ghosts” can be put into films and how they can be discovered.

Where do we start?  For every real scene there is a cutaway or an added special effect.  This may be the most enlightening 10 minutes you will ever see.  The next time you turn on your television and see a frightening Muslim terrorist, know that the murderers who produced this insult to the world also are responsible for the TV shows you allow your children to see.

LONDON TIMES RUNS SECOND ISRAELI PROPAGANDA PIECE IN A WEEK

The second time this week, the London Times has run articles submitted by Israeli intelligence, irresponsible, inaccurate and intended to bring chaos.  The first article claimed that US sources had verified Saudi Arabia’s intention to allow Israeli planes to use their territory for an attack on Iran.  The government of Saudi Arabia issued a strong denial in hours.  Today’s Israeli press release, carried as a news article by the London Times is far more sinister but also leaves a trail.  We are putting the London Times in for the Yellow Journalism Award of the Week, something usually reserved for Fox News.

The article itself is what we call a “plant.”  The substance of the times article includes a meeting with an imaginary Taliban commander and a hodge podge of misinformation, outright lies and subterfuge.  What is more important is why the article was written and why such a transparent piece of propaganda is a sign of Israel feeling the upheaval or worldwide scorn after the massacre of human rights activists in the Mediterranean.   The real pressure to cause a rift between NATO and Pakistan, something India and Israel have worked for, has been exacerbated by President Karzai’s attempts to draw close to Pakistan to support his failing regime.  Karzai, educated in India, had, for most of his rule, worked closely with India and, less publicly, Israel, something his people would have hated him even more for, if that were possible.

Continually dogged by accusations of corruption and for surrounding himself with druglords from the minority Northern Alliance, Karzai’s every act has moved Afghanistan into chaos and closer to civil war.  Now that the end is on him and on his friends, India and Israel, he has run to Pakistan for help and Israel has run to the Times to stop him.

The timing of the article, immediately after the Times attempted to divide the Islamic world by claiming Saudi Arabia and Israel were planning an attack on Iran, is, in itself an additional sign of how little the London Times is valued by organizations powerful enough to have it print stories that would humiliate any reputable paper.  It was important for Israel, the close ally of India, to discredit Pakistan and attempt to tie it to the Taliban, an organization that has killed thousands in Pakistan.  No mention is made of these attacks, however.  No mention of Israel and India and their role in arming and training the Taliban as part of a program of surrogate warfare against Pakistan, the world’s only Islamic nuclear state.

The gist of the article is simple:  Pakistan is running the Taliban because Pakistan ran the Taliban during the 1980s, when, frankly, the Taliban didn’t exist.  The article further claims that Pakistan’s ISI, their version of the CIA, is working with President Zardari to organize the Taliban.

A minor problem with this, of course is that the ISI was placed under the General Kiani, Chief of Staff of the Army, over the extremely strong objections of President Zardari.  Benazir Bhutto, the slain former president and wife of current President Zardari, had, during the early 1990s, sought ties with the Taliban in neighboring Afghanistan.  This was, however, before the rumors of Al Qaeda operations in Afghanistan began.  The assumptions made by the article exhibit a total lack of historical perspective and the realities of Pakistan’s internal politics.

Today, there is no evidence of a subtantial terrorist presence in Afghanistan prior to the US invasion in 2001.  In fact, it looks as though the foreign fighters who came to Afghansitan arrived with the Americans.

The head of the Pakistan’s army at that time was General Aslam Beg and the head of the ISI, Pakistan’s intelligence service was Lt. General Hamid Gul.  I know both gentlemen well and have discussed their roles supporting the Mujaheddin, the US backed force that pushed the Soviets out of Afghanistan.  Pakistan, as an ally of the United States, actively helped the CIA operate in Afghanistan.  To the Times, the Mujaheddin of the 1980s is the same as the Taliban of today.  Nothing could be further from the truth.

I  know the primary commanders who operated for Pakistan inside Afghanistan and am proud to call them friends.  Their homes are filled with momentos of their friendship with the United States.  Few American soldiers of distinction have been honored by the United States as these Pakistani officers have.  The accusations made against these gentlemen, long since retired is less than rational.

Accusations that Pakistan is running the Taliban through the current ISI is even worse.  In fact, Pakistan has captured more Taliban leaders than either Afghanistan or the US.  They have also lost more casualties.  The ISI is targeted directly by the Taliban and ISI facilities have been attacked inside Pakistan on more than one occasion with significant loss of life.

Thus, in tracing down the origins of the fanciful account, taken from unattributed sources with the strong smell of Tel Aviv about them, it is obvious, particularly because of the amount of total speculation and the enormous leaps from fact to assumption that there was little time to prepare something sound and well thought out.

Behind the story, not so difficult to see, is a British resident with strong Israeli relationships who was operating in Afghanistan as a manager of a very reputable British charity.  Any Jew in a country as fundamentalist, frankly any Christian or even westerner is always under suspicion.  It is not unusual for a charity to be infiltrated by intelligence agents.  That this is so common is why charity workers are continually kidnapped.  It is assumed anyone working for a charity is a spy.

This story is the “proof of the pudding” as it were.  Any spy forced to reveal him or herself through an act of lunacy is, from that time forward considered “burned.”  Intelligence assets in place are a form of currency.  Burning one with a poor return is an act of poor judgement, such as we have seen from Israel with some consistency.

It is generally considered a coup to get a totally phony story placed in the London Times.  However, when it is the second one of the week with the first story being “outed” by Saudi Arabia’s Foreign Minister almost immediately, we also seem to have burned another asset, the London Times.

Israel’s release, direct from government sources, of a comedy video mocking Freedom Flotilla members executed by IDF recruits, clearly opens the door to reexamination of the holocaust and Israel’s history of deception for gain.  With a current Israeli government that has created an apartheid state based on issue of racial orgin and has even funded “junk science” racial research meant to prove Jews to be a “unique race” among the people’s of the earth, parallels are easy to draw.  Every Gestapo office in Hitler’s Germany had charts and equipment used to differentiate “Aryans” from untermenschen, Slavs and Jews.

The radical concepts of the Likud Party in Israel, led by Benjamin Netanyahu, of limiting citizenship based on, not only racial characteristics, but bizarre interpretatons of government funded genetic research into “racial purity” deeply parallel those enacted by that other “special country” in Europe many years ago.  Systematic war and peace, ever expanding borders, continual propagandizing, resettlement of “impure racial stock” and exclusion from political and economic life, are characteristics of a “corporate state.”

Continual and unending references to the holocaust as a rationale for resettlement of “impure racial stock” deeply parallels the themes of “Jewish-Marxist” betrayal of the Kaiser’s Germany bringing about defeat in World War I.  Hitler contended that the Rothschild’s used their financial control over Britain and France to manipulate the Treaty of Versailles to the extent where the Jewish banking house would be able to loot Germany of its assets and put a communist government in place there as it had in Russia.  These theories were quickly translated into racial policies based on eugenics, a bizarre pseudo-science developed in the United States by the Bush and Harriman families.

Here we see  the theory of collective racial punishment, as administered in Nazi Germany and currently in the “open air prison” of Gaza, based on a combination of junk science and bizarre conspiracy theory.  A Jewish tailor in Dresden and a Palestinian tailor in Jerusalem, along with their families, would be destined to suffer idential and equally undeserved fates with one exception, the “gas chambers” of the holocaust, the area disputed by holocaust denialists and the area exploited by Israel as justification for apartheid.

WHAT DENIALISTS ARE SAYING

The best known scholoar of holocaust theories is Dr. Thomas Dalton, author of Debating the Holocaust; A New Look at Both Sides.  Dalton discusses the history of the “denialist” movement and efforts made to criminalize, not only politically motivated efforts to change majority perceptions of the holocaust but also stifle legitimate research into, not only the holocaust but a more accurate history of Europe in the mid 20th Century.  Most recently, Ernst Zundel, a German born researcher who has questioned issues related to the holocaust was extradited from Canada and imprisoned for years in Germany for “crimes” that, in America would be considered not just “freedom of speech” but relatively modest historical enquiry.  Zundel questioned the number “six million” and, in doing so, was arrested and convicted of an obscure law that creates a special class of truth when Jewish perception is involved.

Zundel, and significant numbers of historians of varying credibility believe the number of Jewish dead is being vastly over stated along with the methods of killing.  It is their contention that since there is no scientific evidence that gassing or cremation facilities existed designed for masskilling, a major area of their research, that numbers of dead should be reassessed.  They insist that since camps such as Auschwitz and Dachau are no longer considered “death camps” and that many other camps listed disappeared “without any trace” according to their research, that the number dead should be lowered by up to 80%.

BALANCING TRUTH AND HUMAN SENSITIVITY

If punishing holocaust “denialists” by criminalizing insensitivity, even if they are correct in their scholarship, is to be a crime when it applies to the deaths of Jews, some insist that the same acts against any group, Palestinians, American sailors on the USS Liberty or one of the dozen more recent holocausts should receive the same legal protections and identical public representations.  The problem seems to emanate from a renewal of an issue of Jewish racial superiority tied to a growing movement in Israel meant to place Jews as a separate race, a fact scientifically farcical, somehow “above” the Semitic races or those of European descent.  Thus, continual scientific research, mirroring the worst of the “denialists” is financed by Israel, meant to establish a Jewish genome.

The concern that has driven the renewal of holocaust denialism is that this move on the part of Israel, in fact reflects the worst pseudo-scientifical tenets of National Socialism and is being used to support the political theory of Zionism, a combination of racial separatism, racial superiority theory and political expansionism.

If “denialists” are insensitive for failing to properly balance their historical methodologies based on statistical analysis, engineering and chemistry with a humanistic approach taking into account the massive human toll on the Jewish population when removed from their homes, imprisoned, starved and subjected to high mortality through typhus and other diseases, there is significant reason for Israel to feel threatened.

Were the experiences of the holocaust, notwithstanding any debate on “how many” and “died which way”, to have empowered a just society and the references to suffering to be applied to humanity, the issue would not be as controversial as it is under the current circumstances.  Is the holocaust being used to empower criminality by a regime bent on moving up the “Hitler scale?”  For 62 years, some of the world has hated Israel while the west has been under the spell of storytellers who have supplanted reality with a belief system that has placed Israel above reason and accountability.  The troops that murdered the humanitarian workers on the Freedom Flotilla had, the day before, been bashing in heads on the streets of Tel Aviv, Jewish heads, political opponents of Netanyahu, Rupert Murdoch and the Likudist extremists.

Israel may be a unique blend of Theocracy, Kleptocracy and Parasitocracy.  Many nations have one, even two of these characteristics in their make-up.  America recently toyed with a Theocratic regime and suffered greatly for this misjudgement.  Much of the Islamic world is theocratic, as Israel points out, stifling human development and individual freedom, in ways Israel herself has become more than expert at.

What Israel has lost is “special nation” status, something defense of the holocaust as a national asset, often wielded as a weapon, will not be able to restore.

We must not accept holocaust propaganda in our schools

Some circles within UNRWA, the United Nations Relief and Work Agency, have been trying to introduce “the holocaust” into Palestinian school curricula in the Gaza Strip. In so doing, the organization is trying to appease certain Zionist-minded groups in North America, and to a lesser extent in Europe, which have been lambasting the UN body for “conditioning” the Palestinian school system to Arab ideological and political trends.

Needless to say, the rationale behind such calls for introducing the conspicuously controversial and highly-propagandistic subject into the world of Palestinian youngsters has very little to do with any educational merits. But it has every thing to do with a virulent Zionist propensity to brainwash Palestinians, particularly young generations, into accepting or at least understanding Zionism, a hateful fascist political ideology that has much in common with Nazism, both in terms of theory and practice.

Using the words of Gaza academic, Zionist supremacists would like to see Arab children taught, at least subconsciously, that the holocaust justifies the arrogation of Palestine by Zionism and that Arabs and Muslims would have to accept what the rest of the world has accepted, namely the Zionist narrative concerning certain events during the Second World War.

Well, the Zionists have stolen our ancestral land, destroyed our homes, and expelled the bulk of our people to the four corners of the world. Now, they are trying to rob us of our memories, falsify historical facts and obliterate our historical awareness by inculcating holocaust mythology into the minds of our kids.
They would like to convince us that the genocidal ethnic cleansing of our people at the hands of Ashkenazi terrorists was an act of charity, not a Nazi act par excellence.

They would like to make us shed tears for Jewish victims based on historical narratives that should be subjected to genuine academic scrutiny in order to ascertain its historical veracity or mendacity.

We, as Arabs and Muslims, certainly realize that Jews, many Jews, were killed unjustly at the hands of the Nazis between 1939-1945. We also heard, as others did, of Auschwitz, Treblinka, Bergen Belsen, and other death camps.  And we are genuinely sorry for the death of innocent human beings, including Jews. After all, as many as 40 million people perished during that European war and all of them were bona fide human beings, equal in humanity. It was a European war, and to paraphrase Menachem Begin, it was Europeans killing Europeans. We Palestinians had nothing to do with it.

However, what we can’t understand is the repulsive and morbid utilization of these sorrowful events by Zionism in order to justify the slow-motion holocaust that has been meted out to the Palestinian people under the rubric of Jewish suffering.

Today, the shipyard dogs of Zionism bark uncontrollably every time the Zionist holocaust narrative is questioned, even by historians and academics. In some European countries, even raising an innocent question about the “ultimate taboo” is illegal. In short, one can critique and criticize any figure, including God, Jesus, and Muhammad, but should think a million times before even thinking of questioning the ultimate sacrosanct cow, the holocaust.

In Europe today, one can freely depict the Prophet Muhammad, who said all humans are as equal as a comb’s teeth, as a terrorist. Jesus, who said “the meek shall inherit the earth”, is depicted as a gay of salacious characters. Even the Almighty Himself is subject to all sorts of mockery and ridicule.

Only the holocaust is off limit to scrutiny.  It is the modern Golden Calf whose status is more inviolable than any other subject.

Needless to say, this taboo, a mantra whose invocation justifies every conceivable crime under the sun, must be crushed under our feet.

We certainly, don’t say that the memory of innocent Jews killed at the hands of the German Nazis ought to be discarded or violated due to the satanic behavior of the Zio-Nazis of our time, namely the criminal state of Israel.

However, the cheap and virulent exploitation by Zionism of the memories of Jews killed during the Second World War, must be publicized and denounced in the strongest terms.

This is not a legitimate identification with legitimate victims of fascism. After all, Jewish fascism is not really fit or morally equipped to challenge German fascism on the basis of moral criteria.

The Germans invented the master race slogan, the Zionists are invoking the “Chosen people.” The Germans spoke of Untermenschen and Ubermenschen whereas the Zionists speak in terms of Jews and Goyem. The Germans spoke of Lebensraum while Zionist Jews are insisting that “Jews have the right to live anywhere.” Here the allusion is clear, namely that Zionist Jews have the right to arrogate and steal land that belongs to another people.

In short, Zio-Nazism and German Nazism are more or less two sides of the same coin. They are very much like tweedledee and tweedledum.

A few days ago, the London-based human rights organization Amnesty International castigate western countries for keeping silent and doing nothing in the face of crimes against humanity committed by Europe’s nefarious brat, Israel.

Amnesty underscored Israeli crimes against the people of Gaza:

“Among other things, they carried out indiscriminate and disproportionate attacks against civilians, targeted and killed medical staff, used Palestinian civilians as ‘human shields’, and indiscriminately fired white phosphorus over densely populated residential areas,” it added. “More than 1,380 Palestinians, including over 330 children and hundreds of other civilians, were killed.”

This disgraceful silence and inaction on the part of the Old Continent stems mainly from the so-called holocaust guilt.

This is why Europe, with the exception of a few courageous men and women who have an active moral conscience and who are willing to call the proverbial spade a spade even if they find it in Jewish hands, is allowing Israel to carry out genocide and ethnic cleansing against the helpless Palestinians, in order to escape the ever haunting charges of anti-Semitism. Yes, some European states have spoken a few words against the latest Zionist crime in high seas in the Eastern Mediterranean. But that is all.

Well, anti-Semitism is wrong, but so is the blind support of Zio-Nazism which the hateful entity known as Israel embodies and exemplifies.

It is for all these reasons that Palestinians, Arabs and Muslims all over the globe must refrain from introducing Zionist propaganda into our school systems.

We already have Jewish Zionists and Christian Zionists. We certainly don’t need to have Muslim-Zionists as well.

We have been so tormented by these irredeemable liars, the world’s premier merchants of death and mendacity, so much so that we must be constantly vigilant in the face of   anything and everything they try to get us to do either directly or via international bodies such as UNRWA.

In the final analysis, UNRWA itself has no right to tell our children what to learn and what not to learn. According to its mandate, it has no political role to play. Its job is to facilitate, not indoctrinate.
